People Were Asked: "Why are you excited about IMAGINE?"

"An ongoing challenge at CPC is our lack of rooms large enough to accommodate the people who come to our mid-week programs. ALPHA has moved into the gym. Mother’s Together is filling the Sanctuary. Wednesday Family Nights classes are squeezed into kindergarten classrooms. I look forward to new, larger meeting places like the Pavilion and the Great Room that will expand our abilities to reach unbelievers, equip CPCers, and build community"

“Mothers Together is a haven for the moms and their children who come each week for fellowship, friendship and support. We are so excited about having dedicated childcare spaces, plenty of seating for all women whom God brings to our doors, and ample parking on those busy Wednesday mornings!”

"Why am I excited about the Imagine campaign? I see first hand on a daily basis how our current facilities limit our ability to fulfill our calling from God. Let me give you an example, ALPHA. Our current class of over 100 guests has move to the Gym. Praise god for the attendance! However, our move was not as simple as “just move to the gym.” It was actually our third move and we had to displace two other activities. I now IMAGINE a Great Room accommodating ALPHA, allowing others to return to the Gym and everyone participating in activates glorifying God! "

“Student Ministries is literally a lifesaver for many kids. I cannot wait to see all the new teens a larger and more inviting area will attract, giving them a space to have an outrageously good time to meet an outrageously great God.”

“It will be great when we have the larger meeting rooms which Imagine will provide. Right now we have lots of Men’s Fraternity guys who are meeting in different rooms at different times. It will be terrific when we can get them all together in a larger meeting room”

“Have you ever noticed that there is no comfortable place for all of us to gather before or after our worship services? CPC is a large church, meeting in numerous venues every weekend, and we currently do not have a covered, enclosed space that can provide ample room for meaningful interaction between our congregations and Sunday School classes. .A new Fellowship Hall and Pavilion will give us a festive, welcoming place to reach out to each other, to old friends and to newcomers. Most importantly, it will help us fulfill Christ’s command to love one another. Imagine what it would be like to see people of all ages connecting; genuinely enjoying a time and place set aside for fellowship! “

“I’m excited about the possibility of what God could do for the mid-week children’s programs through the Imagine Campaign.”
