Pray to Increase the Light - Matthew 5:14-16
We ask you to pray for the Imagine campaign, our Capital Stewardship Ministry that begins this fall.
Join us in praying Matthew 5:14-16. Lord, you tell us to be the light of the world – a church that cannot be hidden. You warn us not to put our light under a bowl. Instead, you tell us to put it on a stand so it will give light to everyone in our valley. Thank you for providing the resources needed to become that light and increase our reach as we grow our facilities.
Pray for Preparing the Way - Matthew 3:3
Let’s pray Matthew 3:3. Thank you, Father, that you are calling CPC to prepare the way and make straight the path. Please give the leaders of this campaign great wisdom and favor. Bless this campaign and keep our leaders centered on you and your purposes. Protect them as they take their place in leading us forward.
Pray for Sowing Generously and Reaping Generously - 2 Corinthians 9:7
Dear God: You tell us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that each man should give what he has determined in his heart to give - not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Let your Holy Spirit show each of us how we can serve and lead and give as we enter this new phase of expanding our facilities. Use this new facility to encourage the lonely, save the lost, heal the broken-hearted and equip our members for the works of service.
